Designed and made exclusively for Homebird, our Criss-Cross collection gives reclaimed timber a new story. We work with skilled craftspeople in the heart of Europe who source characterful wood from buildings destined for demolition, carefully repurposing it into substantial furniture made to be enjoyed for many years.

The wood’s knots, markings and natural variations remain beautifully visible, preserving a little of its former story in every piece. Finished with a natural wax and soft grey wash, the collection has the gently weathered charm of a New England coastal home. With its distinctive cross-bracing and subtle signs of traditional craftsmanship, our Criss-Cross range is sustainable furniture at its most characterful.
