Fairford Elm Dining Table 200cm

Our Fairford dining table is crafted from solid elm, a characterful hardwood with wonderful variation from board to board. The natural wax finish protects the timber while leaving the distinctive grain beautifully visible, bringing out the warm, light tones that give this piece a reassuring presence without feeling heavy or dominating the room. Quarter rounded edges also work to soften the look and feel of the table.

The sturdy cross-leg base adds plenty of character and stability, while its inset position allows chairs to pull in easily. Comfortably seating six to eight, everyone can gather around without anyone being awkwardly placed beside a table leg.

Substantial and built to last from solid hardwood, never veneers. We think that such pieces will only improve over the years as they develop a natural patina and a character all of their own. If required the wax finish can be touched up to soften the appearance of any scuffs. And because it is made from solid wood, the table can even be sanded back and refinished many years from now, should you wish.
